Hard to say really, because on some levels, the service has been great, on others not so. But here is the story.
I phoned asking for help, and was given two product numbers. i used the Shad website and ordered what should have been a medium plate and a bag of bolts to specifically fit the top box mounting kit for a Z900rs. The package arrived the next day, excellent, although it was incorrect. It contained two packs of bolts and no plate.
I rang and left a message, and I also emailed on the day of delivery, including pictures. After three days, I had no reply, so I phoned again. They found my email, and acknowledged my pictures.
Next day a package arrived. again, excellent delivery times. The package contained a medium plate.
Trying to fit the plate to my Z900rs fitting kit was impossible. The bolt packs contained only 6mm bolts, but the fitting kit for the Z900rs requires 8mm. I genuinely couldn't be bothered to contact them again. I do possess some 8mm bolts of varying lengths, and with some additional washers I managed to secure the plate successfully.
Overall I'm a bit unsure. I received excellent service and help for what I assumed was for the correct items with my original phone enquiry, I cannot fault the delivery times, the speed of re-placement, nor the actual product.
The missing item, the subsequently incorrect bolts in the original delivery and the slowness in responding was a little bit disappointing though.
I do now have a working plate and it fits and is safe. It just wasn't as seamless as it could have been.
