Engineering and design come together in the SH38x Expandable Panniers to create a pannier set that stands out for its patented expandable mechanism, based on the concept coming from architecture: Tensegrity.
The SH38x panniers join the current range of expandable top cases SH58x and SH59x, giving you the potential of a set of EXPANDABLE top and side cases totalling up to 134L of storage space.

Inner Twin Pocket Net
The SH38X cases include 2 inner pocket nets that allow you to secure the load and store small objects or documentation inside.
Extra Lock Cylinder
A third lock cylinder is included to unify the closure of the cases and the trunk. This means that one single key can be used for all three cases (side and top).

SHAD present the only after market expandable panniers.Building on years of research and development, SHAD have perfected a compensated tension system which allows the pannier to expand and contract telescopically and uniformly. We call this Dynamic Tensegrity.
Capacity and Function
In ONE case, SHAD present their slimmest ever pannier AND their highest capacity pannier. When extended, a modular XL ECE 22-06 helment can easily fit inside.Coupled with the premium lock system, a one key system can be created for top cases (SH48 and larger) and the SH38x panniers.
